About Dayton, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Dayton is a Midwestern city located in the southern portion of Ohio. In 2010, the city’s population was about 141,000. The Dayton metropolitan area is the fourth-largest metropolitan area in Ohio, consisting of nearly 800,000 residents. Dayton is also the sixth largest city in Ohio and serves as the county seat of Montgomery County.

Commonly referred to as the Birthplace of Aviation, Dayton was founded on April 1st, 1796 by 12 settlers who were known as the Thompson Party. Traveling up the Great Miami River on pirogues, the settlers landed on what is now St. Clair Street and discovered two camps of Native Americans who were already settled the area. In 1803, Ohio was admitted into the Union and Dayton became incorporated as a city in 1805.

Due to Dayton’s rich history, there are many exciting things to see and do in the city. The National Museum of the United States Airforce is a large museum housing many aircraft. Individuals are welcome to tour the insides of the many airplanes stored at the museum while learning educational information about them. For individuals seeking shopping and dining opportunities, downtown Dayton offers many selections that will be of interest to residents and tourists alike.

Weather in the area varies drastically depending on the time of year. Dayton tends to experience harsh winters, so the need for an efficient heating system is essential. December, January, and February have average daytime temperatures that tend to remain in the low 20s. It will be essential to have an HVAC technician inspect your heating system to ensure it is prepared to handle the harsher temperatures of winter.

Summers in Dayton are often humid and see temperatures that average in the lower to mid-80s during the day. Records temperatures have reached into the 100s, so it will be essential to ensure your cooling systems are properly running and prepared to handle any extreme temperatures that might visit the area.
